Day 3 started with the acquisition of the
appropriate construction building uniform, including hardhat,
vest, protective eye goggles, hammer and hand saw.
Today we helped Pepere build the walls. Jocelyn used her trusty new hammer to work on her part,
while Pepere worked on his.
How's this for progress??? Pepere might be the builder, but I like to think he couldn't do it without us!
And at the end of Day 3, we have 3 framed walls and a window!!
As Jocelyn said "Good Job Pepere!"
I would say so!
You HAVE to post a close-up photo of Jocelyn in the construction outfit. She must have looked adorable! Nice job on the shed.
ReplyDeletegood job, gang! do you have an outside color picked out for it?
ReplyDeleteThanks Gabrielle. I keep trying to get a photo of her in her outfit, but she is way to busy running around to let me! See today's post. She loves wearing it though. As soon as Pepere gets here in the morning, she has to get on her vest and gather her tools!
ReplyDeleteBrenna, we have yet to decide on that. There is not a lot of variety in outdoor paint colors, but I think we're leaning towards a blue for the main color and some kind of good contrast for the trim work. Inside we will have only the framed walls, though Pat and I may finish them off with panelling or something later. Either way, I could see the inside colors being more fun... pink, purple, yellow, we're not sure yet.
Love the kid-sized construction gear!
